Cats & Cats & More!

Hello Friends:

During this past Labor Day Weekend, little Julia had two fun adventures. The first was to attend Julia's Family Reunion on her Mother's side of the family. The day was exciting and fun, but also very hot. Our little girl drank plenty of water, however:



There were many activities for Julia to participate in, including.....

A Dolphin Ring Toss:



Lots of Good Food:



A Great Sandbox:



And Yummy Ice Cream:



However, by far the greatest event of the day for our little girl occurred when she was able to pet two very young kittens at the reunion.

From her gleeful reaction, you would think that perhaps Julia has never seen a cat previously, but Julia has three friendly cats at home already.

The second exciting adventure was to attend the birthday celebration/lasagne cook-off for Julia's Aunt Darlene. Again, Julia was excited to attend. Below you can see her greeting Aunt Darlene upon her arrival at the event.



As usual, Julia found many fun things to do including trying to ride a tricycle. Unfortunately, her legs were too short to reach the pedals, and she ended up having to push herself with her feet instead:



But, the most exciting moment for our little girl came (as you may have already guessed) when she was introduced to her Aunt Darlene's cat, Boonsie, by Julia's cousin Halie:



With Julia's tremendous fondness for cats and other critters, I think we have even more proof she could become an excellent future biologist! (grin)
