Grocery Shopping!!!
As is common for most families, grocery shopping is an important, but often mundane task that must occur each week. However, "mundane" is not an appropriate term when our little Julia is involved. Most weeks, Julia's mom and yours truly will grocery shop together with Julia along for the adventure. She enjoys the vivid colors, the many people she can say "Hi!" to, and the fun shopping-cart ride. She even is excited about helping us make our food choices for the week. One of our little girl's favorite meals occurs on what we have dubbed "Taco Wednesday". Julia finds it fun and exciting to see the ingredients for this, her favorite dinner.
Below, Julia is excited about the "Taco Wednesday" related ingredients she sees us bring to the shopping cart:

Julia is especially enamored with the beans, one of her favorite foods during this meal:

Julia's version of "Taco Wednesday" consists of her eating cubes of Colby cheese, refried beans, tortilla triangles that she will dip into the beans, and various compatible fruits, tomato chunks, lettuce, olives, etc.
Here we see Julia happily helping us select a fresh head of lettuce:

After shopping in the "taco" isle and the produce section, we usually head to the frozen food section of the store. One of Julia's favorite meals besides "Taco Wednesday" is when we have "Veggie Stew". This is a simple dish made from various mixed vegetables that are cooked slowly in a mushroom sauce and served with noodles and seasoned mushrooms.
In order to help us get the frozen items for this dish, we need to bundle our little girl up, because the frozen food isles are near-Arctic in temperature. Here we see a bundled up little Juila happy and excited about the frozen vegetables we selected as the basis for this meal:

Juilia helps to make the shopping experience very fun and exciting.
